I told Mrs.Barnett what I wanted to do and what I was envisioning, and she gave me this blue paper to use. I made ripples and she told me to put them on the paper for a better, bigger effect then cutting and pasting the ripples on colored paper would have. I also love the color she suggested and how it is just a little lighter than the paper. Her suggestions made my art piece more cohesive then I was originally making it. Now my art piece is more of what I wanted it to be, and less of how it was starting to look.

With our theme of pressure I wanted to make ripples in water with something falling in the water. I now have decided I want a branch with a leaf falling in my water. I started by carving out my ripples. Then I printed them onto my paper. I have just finished making my branch and leaf. Next I will figure out how I want to print them onto my paper so they look cohesive.
